Every Second Tuesday of the Month

Bring your little one to our delightful story time featuring the bunny, Frankie. We will spend some quality time together with Frankie, immersing ourselves in a selection of enchanting stories that'll spark their imagination. Talebearer Bookstore Local Authors Agreement
This agreement is made between Talebearer Bookstore ("Bookstore") and the undersigned local author ("Author") for the sale of the Author’s books at the Bookstore location.
Terms:
Commission Rate
The Author agrees to consign their books to the Bookstore for sale. The Bookstore will pay the Author 70% of the retail sale price of each book sold. The Bookstore retains a 30% commission on each sale.
Payment Schedule
Payments to the Author will be made on a monthly basis, within 15 days following the end of each calendar month. Payment statements detailing sales and remaining inventory will accompany payments.
Book Pricing and Inventory
The Author and Bookstore will agree upon the retail price of the Author’s books prior to consignment. The Bookstore reserves the right to recommend pricing adjustments based on market conditions.
Book Supply and Condition
The Author is responsible for delivering books in good, retail-ready condition. The Bookstore will notify the Author of any damaged or unsellable inventory.
Term and Termination
This agreement is effective upon signing and may be terminated by either party with 30 days written notice. Upon termination, unsold books will be returned to the Author within 30 days.
General Provisions
This agreement constitutes the full understanding between the parties. Any amendments must be in writing and signed by both parties.
