    Every Second Tuesday of the Month

    11am to 11:45am

    Bring your little one to our delightful story time featuring the bunny, Frankie. We will spend some quality time together with Frankie, immersing ourselves in a selection of enchanting stories that'll spark their imagination. The little ones will leave not only with smiles on their faces but also with a small, special gift to remember the magical experience.

    This month’s pick: Between Two Fires. A truly fascinating book about the 13th-century plague, full of vivid detail and compelling stories. It’s been generating buzz — and for good reason.

    April at The Talebearer Bookstore is full of community, curiosity, and a little bunny love. Come join us!

    April 11 — Rabbit Angels Rescue pop-up (meet-and-greet) Meet some of the sweet bunnies from Rabbit Angels Rescue, the organization that saved our bookstore favorites Frankie and Waffles. No adoptions that day, but bring your smiles and support the rescue by learning about their work and the stories behind these rescued rabbits.

    April 16 — Genealogy Discussion, 5:30 PM (RSVP by April 10; $10) Dig into your family history with practical tips and expert advice. Whether you’re just starting or trying to break through a brick wall, this session will give you research strategies and resources to move your genealogy forward. Space is limited — please RSVP by April 10. Fee: $10.

    April 24 — Mahjong lessons & open play Learn Mahjong and then stay for open play. Beginners welcome — bring a friend and your competitive spirit.

    April 25 — Give Back Day Bring a canned food item to the store and receive 10% off your purchase. Help support our local food banks while stocking up on great reads.
